Since 1999 the Institute of Orthopaedic Research and Biomechanics is an accredited testing laboratory according to ISO 17025, directive 93/42/EEC and directive 90/385/EEC. At this time it was one of Germany's first university departments with accredited quality management system.The accreditation (right click for download of the certificate) applies to biological tests of medial devices and physical tests of plastics (right click for download of the scope).
